A beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on February 9, 2025. He was born on July 7, 1966, in Selma, AL. to the late John Walker and Lovelena Harris. At a young age, Charles accepted Christ and became a devoted member of Beach Island Baptist Church in Selma, AL where his faith served as a guiding light throughout his life. He was a dedicated and conscientious individual who devoted his career to serving his community. His exceptional work in environmental health ensured the well-being of others, a testament to his commitment and compassion. Charles will be deeply missed by his five sisters: Juanita Harris, Elmira Gardner, Mary Mcinnis, Mary Anne Harris, and Marzella (John) Samuel; and two brothers, Kenneth Harris, Micheal Stallworth. He also leaves behind a large and loving extended family, including numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and generosity. Charles's life was a testament to his strong faith and unwavering dedication to his community. He will be remembered for his commitment to excellence in his work and the warmth and love he shared with his family and friends. His memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
