was born on August 17, 1978, to the late Anita Jones and Melvin Palmore Jr in Montgomery, Alabama. He was the second oldest of four children.
He accepted Christ in his life at an early age at Rebirth Christian Ministries in Montgomery, Alabama where he served for many years until his health started to decline. He was employed at Gunter Annex from 2017- until his health declined. He graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School. Melvin later attended O.I.C. Trade School in Montgomery, Alabama where learned a trade in environmental services.
Melvin transitioned from this life on Monday, December 30, 2024. He is preceded in death by his mother, Anita Jones; grandfather Deacon James McMeans.
He leaves to cherish his loving and precious memories his loving and devoted wife Yashica Kelly-Palmore, 2 daughters Melanie and Madison Palmore, Grandmother Agnes McMeans-Brown, father Melvin (Angela) Palmore Jr, one brother James (Christy) Palmore, one sister Columbretta (Tony) Gaines, two step brothers Gerrod Harrison and Carlos Jones; one step sister Sharon Jones, two uncles Vernon (Latrenda) McMeans and Samuel Palmore, three aunties Lisa Palmore, Beverly Davis, Alexis Robinson, thirteen nieces and nephews. A host of other loving family members.
